Vanessa is a representative for Local Cultural Education Partnerships on Arts Council England’s peer learning network for Place-Based Consortia, which includes Local Cultural Education Partnerships (LCEPs), Creative People and Places delivery organisations and Cultural Compacts.
VCreate (Vanessa Oxspring) in association with Powered By Can (Jerrel Jackson) and Future Creators (Peter Chivers) with a team of freelancers: Rachel Carter, Deana Ward and Edward Boott, recently undertook a Place Based Consultation.
We delivered three interconnected assignments that together will provide a fuller picture of how Place Based Consortia and local cultural infrastructure work in a place (i.e. rural, urban, large, small, and places with differing levels of cultural infrastructure). A particular focus was on LCEPs (Local Cultural Education Partnerships), Cultural Compacts, and/or other place-based consortia.
