The Mighty Creatives is one of Arts Council England’s 10 national ‘Bridge’ organisations, based in the East Midlands. They believe that access to play, creativity and culture is vital, significantly affecting how children and young people do at school, their health, and their life chances. They exist to provide this access for children and young people aged 0-25. Vcreate are the Project Managers for the Emerge programme. Funded by Spirit of 2012, and delivered in partnership with Arts Connect and UK Young Artists, Emerge sees youth-led arts festivals take place across the Midlands, each inspired by Shakespeare and showcases the variety of young creative talent across the region.
